To provide a separative membrane supporting body having excellent membrane manufacturability and mechanical strength when supporting separative membranes such as a microfiltration membrane, an ultrafiltration membrane, a nanofilter membrane, and a reverse osmosis membrane, and also to provide a separative membrane and a fluid separation element using the separative membrane supporting body.
The separative membrane supporting body includes a long filament nonwoven fabric which has a transmitted light brightness variation coefficient of 1-6% and is configured of a thermoplastic continuous filament. Preferably, the thermoplastic continuous filament is a composite type filament having low-melting point polymer with a melting point which is 10-140C lower than the melting point of high-melting point polymer around the high-melting point polymer.
