To provide the subject separator useful for collection of T lymphocytes having an autoreactive antigenic receptor, removal, etc., of lymphocytes from a cell for bone marrow transplantation by using a chimeric antibody, a single- stranded antibody or a combination thereof, etc., binding to a CD4 molecule.
This separator is capable of separating and detecting a CD4- positive cell by using a chimeric antibody, a single-stranded antibody or an antibody of a combination thereof comprising CDR-1, CDR-2 and CDR-3 of an H chain variable region which are each an amino acid sequence described by formulae I, II and III, CDR-1, CDR-2 and CDR-3 of an L chain variable region that are each an amino acid sequence described by formulae IV, V and VI and an Fc region of a human type and binding to a CD4 molecule. The separator for the CD4-positive cell is useful in the medical field such as collection of T lymphocytes having an autoreactive antigenic receptor, removal, etc., of lymphocytes from a cell for bone marrow transplantation aiming at the treatment of autoimmune diseases.
