To improve the reliability of separator for nuclear fuel assembly transportation applied to the transportation of nuclear fuel assembly.
A separator for nuclear fuel assembly transportation 1 is constituted of a U-shaped outer frame 2 and a plate spring 3. The plate spring 3 is designed so as to provide three in total of projection legs 31 extending in the detaching direction of the separator on both sides of slabs 35. On one end of the plate springs 3 coupled in the coupling holes 22 of the outer frame, nails 33 capable of expanding in the width direction by the bending elasticity are arranged on both sides of the coupling part 32 and both nails 33 are hooked in the coupling holes 22 so that the outer frame and the plate spring are combined. Since the relation between the dimension h1 in the height direction of the coupling hole 22 and the thickness d2 of the plate spring 3 is d2<h1, the plate spring 3 can move in the range of the coupling hole 22, the route of the plate spring 3 on the outer frame 2 moves, if it gets an external force, without resisting to the external force so as to avoid and prevent damage to the route so that the reliability is improved.
