Title:
SEPARATOR PLATE FORMED BY LAYERING FLUORINE RESIN
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH06295733
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a separator plate by which a barrier is formed to the electrolyte movement between double cells and the movement between the cells can be restrained by carrying a fluorine resin layer between a porous structure body and a graphite plate.

CONSTITUTION: A separator plate is composed of at least a single porous structure body and a graphite plate, and not only at least a single fluorine resin layer exists as a barrier to the electrolyte movement between both of them but also electrical continuity exists between the porous structure body and the graphite plate. As for a unit cell having in it the porous structure body, though electrical continuity with the adjacent unit cell can be secured through the graphite plate, electrolyte is separated since the graphite plate and the fluorine type resin layer become a barrier. In this way, the electrolyte movement between cells can be prevented while satisfying requirements as a laminated body of a fuel cell.
