To provide a separator capable of certainly sorting products according to characteristics thereof, without obstructing productivity when the products are separately carried out, even in such a case that product layout considering a yield of material is carried out; and a plate material machining system equipped with the separator.

In the plate material machining system, the separator 6 which is a device sorting and loading the products machined by a plate material machining machine and storing that, comprises a plurality of placing tables 62 vertically arranged, and a moving means individually moving these placing tables 62. As the moving position of the placing table 62, a loading position A loading at least products on the placing table 62, and a retracting position B retracting the products in the separator 6 are set. The moving means is driven so as to move the placing table 62 on which the products are loaded, by a drive signal produced on the basis of product information of the products machined by a plate material machining machine.
