Abstract:
To provide a separator which separates a gas hydrate slurry into gas hydrate and water, provided that the gas hydrate slurry is produced by reacting raw material water with raw material gas such as natural gas.
The separator A is equipped with a screw-type stir-up unit 1 having a spiral ribbon-like blade 1a inside a vertical cylindrical body 5, provided that the blade 1a is formed along an inner wall surface of the body 5. A discharge outlet 7a for the gas hydrate is formed in the upper part of the body 5. The gas hydrate slurry S is separated into the gas hydrate n and water w1 inside the body 5 of the separator A, and the gas hydrate n is stirred upward by the stir-up unit 1 and discharged from the discharge outlet 7a.
