Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily separate garbage, to jumpingly increase the purity of the separated garbage, and to reduce costs.
SOLUTION: In a separator 1, garbage D charged into an inlet 5 formed upstream from a separation drum 2 is separated into lightweight garbage Ds and heavyweight garbage Dwa and Dwb by a rotating impeller wheel 3, the lightweight garbage Ds is discharged from a lightweight garbage discharge opening 6s formed downstream from the drum 2, and the heavyweight garbage Dwa and Dwb is discharged from a heavyweight garbage discharge opening 6w having lots of mesh holes Ha and Hb formed in the lower part surface 2d of the drum 2. In the separator 1, at least one slanted reinforcing plate 7 is fitted between impellers 3i. The reinforcing plate 7 is also used as an air blowing fin F for blowing air to the lightweight garbage discharge opening 6s when the impeller wheel 3 is rotated.
