Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diaphragm capable of reducing an amount of carbide retained on a diaphragm surface from being excessive in a case of being exposed to combustion flame of propellant powder.SOLUTION: A diaphragm 26 arranged between first propellant powder and second propellant powder 24 of a multipulse rocket motor has a first heat resistant layer 26A and a second heat resistant layer 26B that form a carbide layer with heat decomposition. The first heat resistant layer 26A has holding force for the carbide layer higher than the second heat resistant layer 26B. The first heat resistant layer and the second heat resistant layer are laminated so that heat decomposition of the diaphragm 26 reaches the second heat resistant layer 26B from the first heat resistant layer 26A side during combustion of the first propellant powder and before combustion of the second propellant powder 24.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
