Abstract:
PURPOSE:To speed up the input and retrieval of a comment and to reduce the memory capacity of a comment storing means by reading out comment data based on index data. CONSTITUTION:An index data storing part 5 for securing a comment area corresponding to all sequence elements to be programmed and storing the index data of a comment successively in the ascending order of sequence element numbers, a comment data storing part 6 for storing comment data and a comment storing part 4 are formed. At the time of reading out a comment corresponding to a sequence element are read out from the storing part 5 and comment data are read out from the storing pat 6 based on the read index data. Consequently, the input and retrieval of the comment can be rapidly executed and the memory capacity of the means 4 can be reduced.
