Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide at low costs a tube pad capable of packing articles, withstanding the shock of a high load with the minimized volume occupied by the packing in use time of in storage.
CONSTITUTION: The tube pad consists of a sequence of fluid bags T1-Tn provided with air holes H1-Hn and check valves V0a-Vna and V1b-Vnb, respectively, and capable of receiving fluid therein from an air supply opening to becomes swollen. Therefore, the use of such a tube pad permits a reduction in the packing occupying volume and substantial curtailment in transporting expenses and storage such as warehouse charges and it is suited to the reduction of the expenses arising from recovery and recycling after use. For these reasons, this tube pad is extremely useful for the measure taken for preservation of the environment.
