Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide the subject compsn. composed of sequentially polymerized block copolymer having a specific styrene content and a specific diblock content and excellent in self-adhesiveness and fixing power and suitable as an adhesive.
CONSTITUTION: A predominantly linear sequentially polymerized styrene-isoprene- styrene block copolymer has a styrene content (A) of 17-25 wt.% and a diblock content (B) of less than 4 wt.%. It is pref. to use the copolymer as an adhesive by adding a tackifier resin to the copolymer.
