Abstract:

To provide a serial bus system for specifying a hung bus slave device.

The serial bus system 10 includes: a serial data line 2; a serial clock line 3; pull-up resistors 4 and 5 connected to them; a bus master device 12; and bus slave devices 141 to 144. Drive resistors 161 to 164 are connected between the serial data line 2 and the bus slave devices 141 to 144, and a power source 20 for detection is disposed. The resistance values of the drive resistors 161 to 164 are different from each other. When the voltage of the serial data line 2 detected by the bus master device 12 becomes close to 0V, the power source 20 for detection increase the voltage. The bus mater device 12 specifies and resets the hung bus slave device based on the detected voltage.
