Abstract:
To charge a battery group connected in parallel at high speed in a state in which voltage is balanced.SOLUTION: A serial charge control device comprises: a power terminal VDD connected with a positive electrode terminal of a secondary battery 10a; a voltage monitoring terminal VM1 connected with a negative electrode terminal of the secondary battery 10a; a voltage monitoring terminal VM2 connected with a positive electrode terminal of a secondary battery 10b; a power terminal VSS connected with a negative electrode terminal of the secondary battery 10b; and a control terminal which controls a charge control FET 17 and a discharge control FET 16 provided between the negative electrode terminal of the secondary battery 10a and the positive electrode terminal of the secondary battery 10b, outputs voltage for turning the charge control FET 17 on by the control terminal when voltage of the voltage monitoring terminal VM1 is higher than voltage of the voltage monitoring terminal VM2, and outputs voltage for turning the charge control FET 17 off by the control terminal when the voltage of the voltage monitoring terminal VM1 is lower than the voltage of the voltage monitoring terminal VM2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
