Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide the serial communication method for the vehicle use arithmetic operation processing unit in which data communication is implemented at a high speed with high accuracy and simple configuration.
CONSTITUTION: In the serial communication for the vehicle use arithmetic operation processing unit mounted on a vehicle, measuring a pulse width between the arithmetic operation processing units in an engine and a transmission to control the vehicle, a sender side MPU 91 multiplies an LSB(Least Significant Bit) of pulse width data with control data and sends the result, and a receiver side MPU 92 measures the sent pulse width signal as a digital quantity on the other hand to be input pulse width data TIN and a half of the LSB(n) of the same pulse width data as the sender side is added to the data TIN and the result is divided by the LSB(n) to obtain the control data DIN (DIN=3(TIN+n/2)/n).
