PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a serial pattern trigger circuit that can trigger to time series of serial data. SOLUTION: The circuit comprises an edge level condition setting unit that can individually set an edge detecting condition for a clock input signal and a level detecting condition for serial data, a function that creates a clock from the clock input signal being one of acquisition data based on the edge detecting condition of this edge level condition setting unit, a comparator that has a function that makes synchronized serial data with the clock input signal being the other acquisition data binarization based on the level detecting condition, a trigger condition setting unit that sets pattern data for the trigger and the bit number, a shift register that outputs a trigger signal when the serial data that are made binarization is shifted the bit number and is compared with the pattern data to be coincided based on the clock created by the comparator.
