Abstract:
A microfilm-viewing machine adapted for simultaneous viewing of separate microfilm frames during insertion into storage sheaths adjacent before and after a strip a cutting device and for severing, and thereafter insertion, of cut-sections of microfilm into microfilm into microfilm sheaths, for determining speedily where to cut the frame sections exactly as required by virtue of the two separate viewers in series along the path of travel of feed of the microfilm. The sheaths are mounted side by side, and are movable laterally so that successively cut pieces of microfilm are inserted in separate sheaths.
