Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a solar cell having good characteristics and superior in mass productivity and a manufacturing method thereof by possibly reducing the shadow loss of the cell and eliminating the soldering step for series connection of solar cell elements.
CONSTITUTION: A series solar cell having at least two series connected solar cell elements is structured such that the first solar cell element 101 has collecting electrodes composed of metal wires 103 coated with a conductive adhesive agent at the light-receiving face and these collecting electrodes are adhered to electrodes on the back of the second solar cell element adjacent to the first one.
