分散する構成の２次元光フェーズドアレイ装置が、互いに平行に配置された、複数の光学的な低速光導波路（２０２、２０８、２１８）と、前記低速光導波路のなかの隣接する導波路の端部同士を光学的に結合し、蛇行した光学的配置を形成する導波路ベンド（２０６、２１６）とを備え、前記低速光導波路が、第１の導波路タイプの第１の導波路と、第２の導波路タイプの第２の導波路を含み、前記第１の導波路と前記第２の導波路とが、互いに隣接して交互に配置され、前記低速光導波路が、フェーズドアレイ（２１４）を形成するフェーズドアレイの領域を含み、前記第１の導波路の第１のフェーズドアレイの領域及び前記第２の導波路の第２のフェーズドアレイの領域が、逆符号で同じ群屈折率の分散の勾配を有し、前記低速光導波路が、隣接する導波路間に遅延を与える低速光ディレイ導波路の領域（２１０）を含む。【選択図】図２
