To provide a server device and a management system that can efficiently perform currency balance management.SOLUTION: The server device includes receiving means, extraction means, first determination means, second determination means, and first transmission means. The receiving means receives balance information indicating the balance of each denomination of currencies stored in a plurality of depositing and dispensing devices that execute deposition and dispensing of currencies. The extraction means extracts target machines in which the balance is to be adjusted on the basis of the balance information received by the receiving means from the depositing and dispensing devices. The first determination means determines adjustment contents to be carried out on each of the target machines extracted by the extraction means on the basis of the balance information received by the receiving means. The second determination means determines the order of carrying out balance adjustment on the respective target machines extracted by the extraction means. The first transmission means transmits a maintenance request indicating that the adjustment contents determined by the first determination means are to be carried out on the target machines in the order determined by the second determination means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
