Abstract:
To provide a server device etc. that can provide information related to a change in rank in a result of an item search.SOLUTION: An acquisition unit 112 acquires items that match a query received from a shopper terminal by a reception unit 111. A generation unit 113 generates a search result page in which link objects associated with the acquired items are arranged in an order matching the query. A storage unit 115 stores the query, an item associated with a link object arranged on the search result page, and a rank of the item in the search result page in association with one another in a search history DB 122. For each of the items associated with the link objects, when the rank associated with the query and stored in the search history DB 122 is lower than a previous rank, a reporting unit 116 reports to a merchant associated with that item that the rank of that item is lowered.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
