Abstract:

To provide a space-saved server with state display function.

In the server with state display function 100 comprising a controller part 40 including a CPU and an HDD-loaded bay 30 including an HDD interface connector 20, and having a state monitoring function, an HDD bay loading display part 30 comprises a control part 12 inputting a ready signal and an alarm signal outputted from the CPU 41 through the HDD interface connector 20, a register 13 retaining the signal inputted by the control part 12 and an LED display 11 performing a ready display or alarm display corresponding to the signal held by the register 13. The CPU 41 outputs the ready signal and the alarm signal according to a determination result for normal or abnormal using the state monitoring function, and the HDD bay loading display part 10 inputs the signal through the HDD interface connector 20, and displays a ready state or an alarm state on the LED display 11.
