Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the temperature of cooked food evenly as much as possible by reducing the difference in temperature among upper and lower compartments in cooking in a service cart with a number of compartments arranged in a number of stages in the vertical direction.
SOLUTION: Compartments 6 are arranged in a number of stages in the vertical direction, and trays 17 on which a plurality of dishes 18 and 19 with food are mounted are stored inside the compartments. A heating device for heating the food is mounted in each compartment, and a fan 12 is attached to the ceiling of each compartment on the top stage. The fan 12 is operated while the food is heated to make air flow through the compartments so that the temperature of upper and lower compartments is equalized.
