A service reserving system 1 is provided with a reservation receiving server 11 which can be connected through the Internet 15 to a user terminal 12 and a service provider side terminal 13. The information of services which can be reserved is registered in the reservation receiving server 11, the user terminal 12 is provided with a freely attachable and detachable storage means 14 and the service provider side terminal 13 is located in a service providing facility, mounts the storage means 14 and reads contents. The reservation receiving server 11 presents the service information to the user terminal 12. When a desired service is reserved, service information is updated and registered and the reservation information is stored in the storage means 14 of the user terminal 12. On the basis of the said service information, the service provider side terminal 13 certifies the said reservation information.
