Abstract:
To provide a catering system capable of easily accommodating to a change in the number of residents and change of residents, improving catering efficiency, and preventing occurrence of catering mistakes.SOLUTION: The catering system provides residents with food services using: a catering wagon 6 including a rack with a plurality of shelves and rows, where an indication lamp and a switch for turning off the indication lamp are installed on each shelf; and a tablet-type PC 10 that is attached to the catering wagon 6 for preliminarily setting and registering personal information including a personal name of each resident, sexuality, and a shelf number of the catering wagon, and respective food materials of a staple diet, supplementary dishes, and soup selected for each resident. The catering system is configured to: when starting to cater, sequentially select respective food materials of the staple diet, supplementary dishes, and soup on a catering food material selection screen; when the selection matches the preset and registered food materials, light the indication lamp to supply the selected respective food materials on the corresponding shelf; and, when the supply of all food materials is completed, turn off the indication lamp by the turn-off switch of the shelf, and check the completion of the supply of the plurality of types of food materials corresponding to each of the plurality of residents.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
