PURPOSE:To smoothly operate a servo motor and to prevent it from being not able to be operated, by gradually extending the pulse width to control the servo motor till coincidence between a variable to be controlled and a control target value when the difference between them is smaller than a set value. CONSTITUTION:Supplied water is divided to a heating path 3 and a by-pass 4. Water flowing to the heating path 3 is heated at a temperature slightly higher than a set value TS of a temperature setter 11 to supply hot water. A servo motor 17 is operated with the pulse width, which is operated in accordance with the difference between the temperature TM of hot water detected by a hot water temperature detector 8 and the temperature TS by a control pulse output part 14 so that this difference is zero, to operate a mixing valve 10, and hot water is mixed with cold water on the side of the by-pass 4. The pulse width is set in accordance with the difference to reduce the difference, and the pulse width is gradually extended when the difference is smaller than the set value. By this control, the operation of the motor 17 is stabilized and the motor 17 is prevented from being stopped in an operation dead zone.
