Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable preventing the failure of servo and completely separating a sabot and missile.
CONSTITUTION: At the tip of an acceleration cylinder 1 of a missile accelerator, a sabot stopper 17 is projected and on the plane sabot stopper surface 18 formed on the sabot stopper 17 and crossing the acceleration cylinder 1, a sabot failure prevention part 19 such low shock impedance matter as rubber is fixed. When a sabot 13 impinges on the sabot failure prevention part 19, shock pressure generated in the sabot 13 is reduced (In the case the sabot failure prevention part 19 is rubber, it becomes about 1/30), and compression crash of the sabot 13 is prevented or reduced.
