To provide a servo press arrangement and its control method, in which arrangement and method, the collision (interference) of a servo press apparatus with a carrying apparatus can be avoided by making them synchronize with each other without being affected by the working position and the working speed of the servo press apparatus when the carrier apparatus for carrying in/carrying out a workpiece is disposed adjacent to the servo press apparatus.
The method for controlling the servo press arrangement comprises the servo press apparatus 10 for driving a slide by means of a servomotor, and the carrying apparatuses 20, 30 for carrying in and/or carrying out the workpiece to the servo press apparatus. The method comprises a step S1 for generating a master signal 1 variable with time according to a required operation state of the servo press apparatus and the carrying apparatuses, a step S2 for controlling the servo press apparatus by univocally outputting a command value of the position of the slide of the servo press apparatus synchronizing with the change of the master signal 1, and a step S3 for controlling the carriage by univocally outputting a command value of the operating position of the carrying apparatuses synchronizing with the change of the master signal 1.
