To provide servo press equipment which makes a servo press apparatus and a carrying apparatus synchronous, and can evade their collision, and to provide a control method therefor.
Disclosed is a control method for servo press equipment provided with a servo press apparatus and carrying apparatuses, which comprises: a deformation master signal generation step S1 generating a deformation master signal 1 changing with time according to required operation conditions of the servo press apparatus and the carrying apparatuses and a ratio of the preferably velocity during the carrying in/out of a workpiece to the velocity during press forming; a servo press control step S2 univocally outputting a command value of the slide position of the servo press apparatus synchronously with the change of a deformation master signal value 1; and a carrying control step S3 univocally outputting a command value of the operating position of the carrying apparatuses synchronously with the change of the deformation master signal value 1. The deformation master signal generation step S1 is composed of a master signal generation step S11 and a master signal conversion step S12.
