To provide a servo press line where, even in the case abnormality is generated at a part of a press device or a carrying device composing a servo press line, the emergency stop of the device during a normal operation is evaded, the generation of a defective panel by the device during the normal operation is prevented, and the working efficiency in the restart of the driving of the whole line can be increased, and to provide a method for controlling the same.

The press line control device 40 includes: a master signal generator 32 outputting a master signal 1; a plurality of individual master generators 42 outputting individual master signals 4 made synchronous with the master signal; and a stop control device 50, in the case abnormality is generated at a part of a press control device or a carrying control device, individually stopping the device. An individual master generator 42 in the device having a risk of generating interference with the abnormally stopped device is stopped at a position in which the interference is avoided, and the individual master generator 42 in the device in which interference is not generated is driven to an ordinary stop position, and is stopped.
