To provide a servo system capable of reducing a variation in wire speed even if respective motors are individually controlled in a device for controlling tension through the use of a DC motor for drawing a wire and a servo motor for controlling the tension.
A tension controller consisting of the DC motor for drawing the wire and the servo motor for controlling the tension of the wire includes the servo motor having a speed detecting means and a servo amplifier. The servo amplifier has a torque control means, a speed variation extraction means for removing DC components from an output of the speed detecting means to extract the variation, and a correction torque generating means for generating correction torque to make the output from the extraction means zero. The servo system characterized by that a command torque is a sum of the output from the torque control means and the correction torque is employed to reduce the variation in wire travelling speed even if the DC motor for drawing the wire and the servo motor for controlling the tension are individually controlled.
