Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain an actual speed signal by differentiating a position signal, synchronizing the differential signal with the zero cross of the position signal, and then performing sampling operation. CONSTITUTION:The output of a position detector 11 is passed through a demodulator 13 and a frequency characteristic compensating circuit 14 to obtain a sine-wave position signal A having a frequency proportional to the turning speed of a motor 10 and a nearly constant peak value. The output of this circuit 14 is processed by differentiation 17 to obtain a signal A'. The zero- cross signal of the position signal A is detected and used for sampling, thereby obtaining an actual speed signal.
