Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein it is extremely difficult to accurately estimate a set coefficient of a parallel grounded electrode and a set coefficient related to a distance and an equivalent radius.
SOLUTION: On a set coefficient display chart of a parallel grounded electrode, graduations 1-100 of either a horizontal axis or a vertical axis of a chart of a logarithmic coordinate, e.g. the horizontal axis, is used as a value of 1/α (the term α here is r/d, d is a distance of the electrode, r is the equivalent radius.), a value which adds 1 to the graduations 0.01-4 of the other one, e.g. the vertical axis, is used as a value of a set coefficient η, and correspondence of η and α, in the case where the number of the parallel grounded electrode is 2, is indicated by a straight line connecting a coordinate point, where the value 100 of the horizontal axis meets the value 1.01 of the vertical axis, to a coordinate point where the value 1 of the horizontal axis meets the value 2 of the vertical axis. Besides, the value of 1/2 of the graduations 1-100 of the horizontal axis is used as a value of 1/α, and the correspondence of η and α, in the case where the number of the parallel grounded electrode is 3, is indicated by a straight line connecting a coordinate point, where the value 10 of the horizontal axis meets the value 1.166 of the vertical axis, to a coordinate point where the value 2 of the horizontal axis meets the value 1.545 of the vertical axis.
