Abstract:
PURPOSE: To easily recognize such a fact that the load reaches a set load and to optionally change the set load by moving an adjusting member in the axial direction of a casing, relative to the latter.
CONSTITUTION: A groove 24 is formed in the outer peripheral surface of a core 11 slightly inward from an end surface part 20b of an adjusting member 20, so as to extend over the entire periphery of the core 11, and is coated with a red paint so as to define a set load excess mark 25. If no load is exerted to a set load excess detecting device 1, the mark 25 is hidden in the adjusting member 20. Meanwhile if an external force is exerted to the set load excess detecting device 1, the core 11 moves in a direction in which it projects from a cylindrical casing 10, overcoming the force of a spring member 18, and as the external force increases, the mark 25 is exposed from the adjusting member 20. At this time, the external force varies it value in accordance with the position of the adjusting member 20. Accordingly, the external force with which the mark 25 is exposed to the outside can be changed by changing the position of the adjusting member 20.
