Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a set of a thermal transfer ink sheet and a thermal transfer image receiving sheet, capable of obtaining sufficient print density and improving light fastness of a printed material while suppressing catalytic fading, and to provide an image formation method using the same.SOLUTION: A set includes: a thermal transfer ink sheet 20 having a yellow coloring material layer, a magenta coloring material layer 25 and a cyan coloring material layer 26 on a substrate 21 layer; and a thermal transfer image receiving sheet having a particle inclusion layer and a reception layer on the substrate. The magenta coloring material layer 25 includes at least one kind of dye selected from a group including imidazole azo-based dyes. The cyan coloring material layer 26 includes a cyanine dye. The particle inclusion layer contains a hollow particle and/or microballoon.
