Abstract:
PURPOSE:To simplify the setting of a relay and miniaturize it, by providing the primary side of a comprehensive current transformer for converting a three- phase electricity quantity obtained from a protected system to a sample quantity, with a short circuit tap coming in contact with three points and a ground tap coming in contact with two points. CONSTITUTION:From the output side of an R-T-phase main CT 1 forming a protected system, current IR-IT in proportion to respective phases and current 3I0 in proportion to neutral point current are found, and the input to the comprehensive current transformer 3 of the setting section 2 of a display line protecting relay is provided. Three point contact short-circuit taps 16a-16c are composed of contactors 7a-9a and 7b-9b from taps arranged on coils between the current IR and IS and between IT and IS, and a common contactor 16 from the current IS. Besides, taps 13-15 between the current IT and 3I0 and a common contactor 18 are provided with two point contact ground taps. As a result, just by switching a short circuit rod to the three point contact short-circuit taps 16a-16c or the two point contact ground taps 13-15, the setting of the relay is executed, and the mechanism of the relay is simplified.
