Title:
SETTING DEVICE FOR SNOWBOARD BINDING
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2003024496
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To allow a user to smoothly get on and off a lift and move where there is no slope, while keeping bindings attached to the snowboard.

Bindings are attached to a snowboard B via a setting device. The setting device comprises a base member 10 attached to screw holes in the board B; a rotating member 12 rotatably supported against the base member 10 and having a flange part 25 formed around a mounting part 24 provided with screw holes 26 for attaching the bindings; a pressure contact plate 13 pressed into contact with the flange part 25 of the rotating member 12; and a fixing means 14 for fixing the pressure contact plate 13 in place using fixing screws 28. By loosening the fixing screws 28, the angle of the bindings is freely varied to allow the user to smoothly get on and off a lift and move where there is no slope, even with the binding attached to the board.
