Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enable a high-degree adjustment of a detection reference position by lowering a thickness detector, wholly bringing detecting rollers arranged in a row shape in the width direction of veneer into contact with a reference roller, and outputting a reference position changing signal using a point when a displacement quantity detecting signal is inputted as a new reference point.
CONSTITUTION: A thickness detector 2 containing sensors 23a to 23c to support detecting rollers 20a to 20c arranged in the direction orthogonal to the carrying direction of veneer 1 through arms 22a to 22c, is provided. In a thickness setting circuit 7, when a lowering command is given, the whole of the thickness detector 2 is lowered by driving a motor 4c of a raising-lowering device 4. At this time, when detecting voltages of the respective sensors 23a to 23c when the detecting rollers 20a to 20c come into contact with a reference roller 3 exceed preset reference voltage, for example, 1.00V, detecting signals are respectively outputted to a reference position setting changing circuit 6 from displacement quantity detecting circuits 5a to 5c, and are changed with voltage when the last sensor outputs a detecting signal as reference voltage.
