Abstract:
PURPOSE: To automate the setting of a check area by contracting an image taken by a camera and, after removing a noise by means of a circuit pattern, expanding a land image to the original size, and setting the check area to a mended image of which noise has been eliminated.
CONSTITUTION: A live image taken by a camera is stored in a live image storage part 11 via an interface 6, and it is binary-coded by a control part 7, storing it in a binary-coded image storage aprt 12. With this binary-coded image information, a single picture element portion-contracting process is applied to a spot in the cross direction of a land, and the result is stored in a binary-coded image storage part 13, but with an image in this image storage part 13, the same contraction process is applied as well, storing it in the image storage part 12. When the same process is repeated as many as n times, a circuit pattern image is erased from the binary-coded image. The binary coded image, eliminated with this circuit pattern, is expanded up to the size of the land, setting it down to a mended image, and if a check area is set to a bright part of this mended image information, there is no fear of mistaking the circuit pattern for the land, so that automation becomes facilitated.
