Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce the number of stages of setting operations for a window panel, by opening a side panel part of the window panel wide in a car width direction in advance, while fitting the window panel in a body opening part in the state of its being opened wide, and sticking and locking them together. CONSTITUTION:A rear window panel 3 is supported by suction force with a vacuum cup 5 of a hand 2. In the state that this window panel 3 is supported by suction force, the panel is conveyed to a body opening part. An air cylinder 6 of the hand 2 is extended to some extent, and a central part of the rear window panel by a bush pad 7 at its tip end. Therefore, a side panel part 3a is opened wide as in chain lines. Under this condition, the rear window panel 3 is positioned to a specified position of the body opening part and then the air cylinder 6 is contacted. In consequence, the side panel part 3a is self-restored by dint of its resilience, and the rear window panel 3 is made to stick fast to the body opening part by a bonding agent S applied to the panel part 3a.
