Abstract:
To effectively utilize space around a device by reducing the installation area for the device.
A reader/writer 23 is turnablly provided for a change tray 16 having a change receiving part 21 that holds cash temporarily, when settlement is made by cash, the part 21 is opened by turning the reader/writer 23 to upward of the tray 16, and when settlement is made with a portable storage medium CD, the part 21 is closed by turning the reader/writer 23 to downward of the tray 16. Therefore, the installation area for the device can be reduced by providing the tray 16 and the reader/writer 23 at the same position and consequently, the space around the device can effectively be utilized.
