Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sewage sludge drying system capable of curbing energy consumed for drying sewage sludge.SOLUTION: A sewage sludge drying system 1 dries sewage sludge in a drying chamber 2 with hot water circulated between a heat pump 4 and a hot water jacket 3. Gas containing moisture generated from the sewage sludge in the drying chamber 2 is circulated to a condenser 5 and a first heat exchanger 6 in this order and returned to the drying chamber 2. The condenser 5 condenses the gas through heat exchange between the gas and a coolant and discharges condensate water. The first heat exchanger 6 increases a temperature of the gas through the heat exchange between the gas and the hot water. Heat of the coolant transferred from the gas through the heat exchange therewith in the condenser 5 is recycled as a heat source of the heat pump 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
