Abstract:
To improve reaction efficiency in an anaerobic tank in a sewage treatment apparatus equipped with the anaerobic tank and an aeration tank; to carry out the advanced treatment of sewage at a low cost without the necessity of increase in equipment size and introduction of advanced technology.
The anaerobic tank 4 and the aeration tank 5 are disposed in this order. A filter bed 16 is installed in the anaerobic tank 4, and has a contact material 17. This contact material 17 has a core material comprising a three-dimensional thick-plate net body, and sludge sticking yarn disposed along the core material.
