PURPOSE: To achieve higher sewing efficiency, even with an apparatus of a simple structure by feeding a rubber tape smoothly to keep ends of cloth cut out for clothing so as not to be curled after the cutting of the rubber tape due to the contraction of the rubber tape in a sewing apparatus which is adapted to cut the rubber tape spreading between cloths while the stitching of the rubber tape is performed continuously on the cloth.

CONSTITUTION: A geared belt 35 is passed on a gear 33 having a flange provided integrally with upper feed rollers 23b and 24b longitudinally and the rear upper feed roller 23b is driven to rotate with the front upper feed roller 23b while cloth between the feed rollers is pressed on a table 27 with the belt 35. Thus, the edges of the cloth are prevented from being curled when a rubber tape 15 spreading between cloths is cut with a tape cutter 21 while the feeding of the cloth is performed.
