To provide a sewing machine module which can be produced easily, and has high rigidity, and a sewing machine including the sewing machine module.
A sewing machine module 8 includes a feeding mechanism 60 for feeding a sewing object, and a shuttle mechanism 90 for capturing a thread. The sewing machine module 8 is mounted on a sewing machine in a modularized state. The sewing machine module 8 includes a frame 20, a lid member 40, and a screw 49. The frame 20 encompasses a feeding mechanism 60, and at least a part of a lateral face and at least a part of a bottom face of the shuttle mechanism 90. An upper part of the frame 20 is opened. The lid member 40 is formed in an approximately flat shape, and covers a top surface of the feeding mechanism 60 and the shuttle mechanism 90 supported by the frame 20. The screw 49 connects the frame 20 with the lid member 40.
