Abstract:
PURPOSE: To perform good sewing with no preliminary knowledge on sewing patterns of a sewing machine by reading the bar code or number added to the sewing pattern of an instruction book with a reading means, and instructing and controlling the type of a presser foot and the thread tension pressure of a thread tension unit on a display device.
CONSTITUTION: A central processing unit CPU is connected with a pattern selecting means 10 for selecting the sewing pattern of a sewing machine, a start/stop key 11, a reading means 12, a memory means ROM, and a temporary memory means RAM. The bar code or number added to the sewing pattern displayed on an instruction book 13 is read by the reading means 12, the proper feed and amplitude corresponding to the read result are automatically set, and the sewing pattern, proper presser foot, and the proper thread tension pressure of a thread tension unit are instructed and displayed on a display means 15. Good sewing can be performed with no preliminary knowledge on the sewing pattern of the sewing machine.
