PURPOSE: To execute embroidery sewing of desired size (enlargement, reduction) by a slave machine of the sewing machine with an embroidery function by using pattern, display, data, control, and drive functions from a master machine of the sewing machine with an embroidery function in which a computer program is contained.
CONSTITUTION: The sewing machine is provided with a central processing unit 1, a selected pattern storage means 4 operated by being controlled thereby, a pattern data storage means 5, an actuator driving mechanism and a slave machine detecting means 15 which can be connected to a prescribed slave machine B. Also, this sewing machine is provided with a master machine A of the sewing machine with an embroidery function having a data conversion command means 16 for converting control data of the selected pattern storage means 4 to that for the slave machine B, a pattern data storage means 17 which can convert the data of the selected pattern storage means 4 of the master machine A and in which control data for enlarging and reducing an embroidery pattern is stored, and the slave machine B of the sewing machine with an embroidery function having the actuator driving mechanism.
