Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect accurately a move amount of an object to be sewn.SOLUTION: A sewing machine 100 includes: a detecting part 21, 22 for detecting a move amount of an object C to be sewn; a machine motor 30 for a driving source of up and down movement of a needle bar 13; and a control device 90 for controlling the machine motor on the basis of detection of the detecting part so as to maintain a definite sewing pitch. The control device makes a cycle of obtaining an output of the detecting part longer when a move amount of the object C to be sewn per unit time based on detection of the detecting part gets smaller, and makes a cycle of obtaining an output of the detecting part shorter when a move amount of the object C to be sewn per unit time based on detection of the detecting part gets larger, whereby a signal number from the detecting part received for one cycle can be increased to be capable of improving detection accuracy by decreasing an effect of noises even when a move amount of a fabric is small.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
