Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically feed various kinds of duck for belt at a constant speed in a simple structure and sewing them straight without sewing creases, by using a holding member to hold both ends of the duck in the superposed state and giving a tensile force of the transferring direction of the automatic feeding structure to the holding member.
SOLUTION: Both mutually superposed ends of duck W placed on a sewing base 1 are sewed up while automatically feeding them to the feeding direction S by a feeding plate of a sewing machine 4 to form a cylindrical duck for a belt. Both ends of the duck W are kept in the superposed state on a pinch plate guided and supported to slide it in the sewing direction by the slide structure 3. Thereafter, the feeding plate is actuated while giving a tensile force to the feeding direction S by a tensile structure 5 to the pinch plate 2 and both ends of the superposed duck W are sewed up by a sewing machine 4 to form a cylindrical duck W. Accordingly, various kinds of duck can be fed at a constant speed in a simple structure without manual work.
