Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a sewing method of a vamp in which, even in the case a soft and elastic material such as synthetic leather is used as the raw material of the vamp, gaps between the butt-joints of adjacent ones among two or more reinforcing members attached on the outside of the vamp are kept from being enlarged when the vamp reinforced with the reinforcing members is set in a last mold.
CONSTITUTION: A vamp 10 is reinforced with two or more reinforcing members 11, 12 and 13 and set in a last mold, side molds and a bottom mold. A sole material is injected into a space formed by the last, side and bottom molds to form an outsole 30. Butt-joints 14 and 16 of the adjacent reinforcing members 11, 12 and 13 are stitched together with sewing threads 20 so that stitches 21 cross the bat-joints 14 and 16.
