CONSTITUTION: A shade guide 1 is composed of a single shade part 10 and a support bar 11 to support the shade part. The shade part 10 is a glass plate formed of crystallized glass usable in a dental artificial tooth, and coloration of the shade part 10 changes continuously or in stages in the fixed direction on the single shade part. The shade guide 1 is manufactured in such a way that, first of all, a crystallized glass plate is placed in a heating device such as, for example, a furnace having a temperature gradient, and heat treatment is performed on the glass plate, thus the shade part 10 is obtained and is joined to the support bar 11.
